Open Enrollment for the 2024-2025 School Year Begins on November 15!

 

The Early Childhood Center at Saints Peter and Paul School is fully licenced  by the state of Pennsylvania. We are a Keystone STARS accredited Early Childhood Center. We offer age-appropriate academic environments in a nurturing, structured setting. Two Preschool classes are offered for 3 & 4-year-olds and two PreKindergarten classes are offered for 4 & 5-year-olds. Children must meet the age requirements before September 1st of the year.

The Early Childhood Center for 4 and 5-year-olds is focused on Kindergarten readiness and is 5 full days.

For the Early Childhood Center for 3 and 4-year-olds, we have many flexible options including 3-day, 5-day, half, and full days. An additional hour for lunch bunch may be added to the half-day program. Please call the Advancement office for tuition rates and availability.

Hours

Full-Day PreK: 8:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
 
Half-Day Preschool Program (3 and 4-year-olds only): 8:15 a.m to 11:30 p.m.

Optional Lunch Bunch ends at 12:30 p.m.

The Early Childhood program for 4 and 5-year-olds has 2 full-time teachers and 2 full-time teaching assistants. The ratio of students to teachers is 10:1. Children will participate in a curriculum filled with Kindergarten readiness skills and academic enrichment, including music, art, religion, gym, library, outside recess, and other free play opportunities. Children must be 4 years old before September 1, 2023.  This program is for 5 full days only as the focus is on Kindergarten readiness.

The Early Childhood program for 3 and 4-year-olds has 2 full-time teachers and 2 full-time teaching assistants. The ratio of students to teachers is 10:1. Children will experience theme-based academic enrichment including Music, Gym, Library, outside recess, and other free play opportunities. Children must be 3 years old before September 1, 2023, and also must be potty-trained. Enrollment preference is given to parish families and those selecting the 5-full-day option.

Please note: All students must be potty-trained before beginning school. Children are not permitted to wear diapers or pull-ups to school. We understand that occasional accidents do occur with young children. These are handled with appropriate care by the teacher and/or nurse. If you have any concerns, please contact the school before enrolling your child.

There is a $195 school fee that will be invoiced with tuition.

A $125 non-refundable new student application fee is due at the time of enrollment.
