Margaret Egan Center for Innovation (MECI)

Saints Peter and Paul School is pleased to announce the creation of an innovative learning center named for our award-winning former principal, Mrs. Margaret Egan. In this new educational space students will be engaged in critical, iterative and creative thinking, and problem-solving. The center will have four areas including a complete computer learning lab for technology instruction, a makerspace area for interdisciplinary project-based learning, a collaboration area, and a book and storytime arena. 

Saints Peter and Paul School embraces a digital-rich environment. We integrate technology into the curriculum to enhance digital literacy and to create a community of connectivity and collaboration. Faculty, students, and families experience daily applied technology using the following tools:

• Student run TV production studio that produces live daily broadcasts into the classrooms
• 1:1 Chromebooks in grades 1-8
• SmartBoards in every classroom, including cafeteria
• iPad cart with 30 iPads for use in all grades
• Apple TVs in classrooms
